Public Works & Visitor Center Summer Student
The District of New Hazelton Public Works Department and the Hazelton Area Visitor Center are accepting applications for summer student positions for the 2025 spring/summer season.
Public Works (1-2 positions) preferred applicants must:
- Be available from May 12th – August 29th;
- Work weekends and flexible hours;
- Hold at least a valid Class 7 Novice drivers license; and
- Be able to do physical labour.
Visitor Center (1-2 positions) preferred applicants must:
- Be available from May 12th – August 29th;
- Work weekends and flexible hours;
- Be knowledgeable about the Hazeltons and surrounding area; and
- Complete the Visitor Information Counsellor training program.
- Possibility of part-time for suitable candidates.
Students must be able to confirm enrolment in high school or a post-secondary program in the fall of 2025.
