The New Hazelton Volunteer Fire Department covers New Hazelton, South Hazelton, Two-Mile, and rural properties east and north of New Hazelton as part of a mutual aid agreement with the Village of Hazelton and the Regional District of Kitimat Stikine. Practices are Monday nights and new volunteers are welcome!
The Volunteer Fire Department also provides Road Rescue services to most areas in the Upper Skeena region with an approximate coverage area of 18,000 square kilometres.
