Meet Soma - A Northwest BC Story Worth Reading
When Soma Sundaram left Ottawa for a job opportunity in Terrace, he expected a simple career change. What he discovered instead was a warm and welcoming community that felt like home from the moment he arrived the day before Family Day. Neighbors helped him settle in, and finding connections quickly became effortless.
Soma soon found that life in Terrace offered more than he imagined. His work with Northern Health keeps him closely connected to major regional projects, including the new Ksyen Regional Hospital. Outside of work, he stays active in the community through local volunteer groups, outdoor activities, and time spent hiking, climbing, and playing cricket.
What began as a career move has grown into a meaningful life rooted in community, belonging, and the natural beauty of Northwest BC.
