May 4 & 5, 2013: Cliff and Helene went to a "Train the Trainer" course in Thornhill to certify them to train their new recruits the Basic Fire Fighter course.

Area of Coverage:

 

The fire department covers the District of New Hazelton, 2 Mile, South Hazelton, out to 15km east of New Hazelton on highway 16, and west to Ross Lake road.

They also cover wildland fires in this area.

 

Hazeltons' and Districts Rescue covers from Moricetown to Coyote Creek (just west of Cedarvale), all of Kispiox road, and all of the service roads in this area. This is an area of around 18,000 square kilometers.
